Gartner’s Global Executive Partners team specializes in Infrastructure & Operations (I&O). We equip I&O executives with indispensable insights, advice and tools to achieve their mission-critical priorities today and build the successful organizations of tomorrow

What you will do:

  • You will manage a portfolio of 25-30 clients, typically Infrastructure & Operations leaders reporting to CIOs, from global Fortune 1000 organizations and government agencies

  • As their Executive Partner, you will be delivering value through regular briefings, a mix of on-site and virtual workshops, roundtables, webinars and by attending relevant Gartner events, etc.

  • As someone who has previously been in their shoes before, you will use your knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to coach and mentor your clients on critical initiatives and obstacles for today and tomorrow specifically within the I&O space

  • Collaboration is key: You will work closely with several internal Gartner teams to ensure value is delivered; these can include Sales teams, Analysts, Client Managers, and your peers across other EITL domains.

  • This role is a Client-facing position that requires a high level of Executive presence and ability to build trust and deliver value

  • Responsible for member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities

  • This is a predominantly home-based role, where you will operate as an individual contributor managing your own desk and other administrative tasks; you will be delivering value to your client portfolio in a virtual manner

What you will need:

We’d love to talk to you if you have:

  • 15+ years’ experience with a primary focus in an executive Infrastructure & Operations leader role within a Fortune 500 company

  • Preferably combined with successfully demonstrated consulting, sales or coaching skills at executive level

  • In addition to I&O experience and skills, we're seeking AI, automation, and product-oriented experience and leadership skills, for example:

  • AI: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement and scale AI within I&O, for example, Machine Learning (ML), Chatbots, predictive analytics, etc.

  • Automation:  Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement and scale automation such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), service-catalogs with automated I&O product/service delivery/fulfillment, self-healing infrastructure, automated pipeline engineering, etc.

  • Product oriented/ product-centric I&O: Has created, directed, and/or led efforts to implement I&O operating models, organization designs, tooling, and business solutions that leverage automated, service catalog-driven, self-service IT solutions for applications/platform teams and employees.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required

What you will get:

  • Competitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program, Medical, Dental & Vision Plans, Parental Leave, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), 401K and more!

  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity

  • Professional development and unlimited growth opportunities

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
