Executive ‐ Plant Lean Enterprise

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining Silueta as an Executive ‐ Plant Lean Enterprise based at Biyagama to coordinate and implement Lean Manufacturing standards, practices and policies throughout the relevant business unit in order ascertain the alignment of the organization to achieve its business objectives through eliminating or minimizing non-value adding activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and conduct in-house training programs on operating systems through analyzing information provided by consultants and secondary data/materials in order to impart knowledge and skills to relevant stakeholders.
Implement new operating systems practices & processes to the production, support floor(s) and carryout special operating systems projects through continuous improvements in order to facilitate the smooth functioning of the process.
Prepare Visual Displays for factory information after agreement on requirements with relevant management. Carry out data collection and analysis to help resolve problems systematically identified by management.
Prepare team for operating systems calibrations as per the given directions.
Engaging with Group Lean Enterprise and Divisional Lean Enterprise in knowledge sharing sessions and ensuring the knowledge is practiced through projects.
Prepare and generate operating systems information regarding lean implementation status through Reports, Graphs, and Visual Display in order to deliver, improvements in production floor and facilitate management decisions.
Facilitate & capture learnings from consultant visits & internal resource persons and ensure they are retained for continuous business improvement.
Prepare documentation in compliance with the relevant ISO standards (International Organization for Standardization) for the purpose of both internal and third-party audits.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in lean manufacturing, textile technology, physical science, applied mathematics, textile or industrial engineering, business administrations, fashion design or equivalent professional qualification.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Production.
- Exposure & hands on experience in just in time pillar or value stream improvements experience in
TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) function. - Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
