What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
  • To plan the production schedule by preparing Production plan
  • To allocate the work among operators on a daily basis on machines/work center / shifts and prepares shift schedules.
  • To supervise the production activities on a day-to-day basis guiding the operators and troubleshooting for smooth operation of machines/processes.
  • To co-ordinate and follow up with Planning and warehouse for timely dispensing of material, availability of material and receipt of finished goods.
  • Co-ordinate and follow up with engineering dept for timely availability of the services to attend breakdowns, interruptions and scheduling of maintenance.
  • To do weekly and monthly planning of production schedules.
  • To provide on the job training and guidance to the operators.
  • To conduct department orientation to new recruits in the department.
  • To maintain shop floor discipline by controlling absenteeism/tardiness/loitering and identify any waste full practices.
  • To coordinate with purchase dept and vendor for ordering and rectification issues of machines and packing material.
  • To help prepare documentation like Batch Manufacturing Records, protocols etc.
  • To initiate Event report form/Change Control procedure as required under the relevant SOP.
  • Improve safe work conditions and safe working practices to have zero accidents and environment friendly operations.
  • Adherence to local legal requirements, EHS policy and EHS standards/ programs/ SOPs to ensure compliance and improve the safety culture.
  • Participation in safety meetings, EHS programs and EHS events and proactively report and address EHS issues and Near Misses.
  • To ensure adherence and compliance to GMP requirements.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):
  • B-Pharmacy/M-Pharmacy degree with any years of experience or Freshers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
  • Pharmaceutical experience in Operations Engineering
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify and implement cost-effective solutions
  • Experience in optimizing production workflows
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
