That’s how we’re UNSTOPPABLE for our employees!

At T-Mobile, our Executive Recruiting team delivers a "magenta glove" experience to leaders and candidates alike. As an Executive Recruiter, you will lead high-profile, end-to-end executive and leadership searches, partnering directly with senior leadership to attract and secure top-tier talent that drives business transformation. You will own the full lifecycle of each search — from scoping and strategy through offer acceptance — while serving as a strategic advisor, brand ambassador, and candidate champion.
Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, connecting immediate hiring needs with the long-term vision to future-proof leadership pipelines. You must thrive in ambiguity and shifting priorities, maintaining calm professionalism no matter the pace. Building real trust with executives, candidates, and colleagues is essential — this role demands true relationship-driven influence, not just surface-level connections. You will use data, market insights, and compelling storytelling to advise and influence decisions at the highest levels. Every interaction must reinforce and amplify T-Mobile’s values and vision, positioning you as a powerful brand ambassador. Relentless focus on delivering high-quality, high impact hires with speed and precision will define your success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive full lifecycle executive and leadership searches from intake to offer close: develop sourcing strategies, actively recruit, assess, advise, and deliver world-class talent.
  • Partner with Hiring Executives to launch each search: deeply understand business priorities, success metrics, organizational dynamics, and leadership gaps.
  • Craft search strategies that include target company mapping, market insights, and innovative sourcing approaches to surface top leadership talent.
  • Actively engage passive talent through direct outreach, networking, and compelling storytelling about T-Mobile's leadership opportunities and growth story.
  • Conduct in-depth executive assessments evaluating leadership capabilities, cultural alignment, and potential impact.
  • Present broad candidate slates through written executive summaries and consultative discussions with hiring leaders.
  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand and values.
  • Provide proactive updates and insights to hiring leaders and stakeholders, managing expectations, anticipating risks, and offering solutions.
  • Negotiate executive offers with a strong understanding of compensation structures, motivations, and internal equity.
  • Capture and leverage market intelligence to inform talent strategies, succession planning, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage multiple executive and/or leadership search projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing both search execution and stakeholder management.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • 7-10 years total recruiting experience, with 3+ years focused specifically on executive and leadership-level recruiting (corporate and/or search firm experience welcomed).
  • Executive presence and strong consultative abilities; able to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise in telling the T-Mobile story, candidate assessment, sourcing strategy development, and competitive market intelligence.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational design and leadership competencies.
  • Presentations: ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate.
  • Partnerships: develop business cases and influence decision while creating and maintaining strategic alliances.
  • Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS/CRM tools)

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

    Key Facts About Seattle Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google

    • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
