Executive Search Partner (Contractor)
Role Overview
As a trusted talent advisor, you will partner with senior leaders across Micron to identify, attract, and secure exceptional leadership talent that enables the company's strategic objectives. You will lead executive and senior leadership searches across Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, Corporate Functions, and Business Units, delivering market intelligence, talent insights, and consultative guidance that influence critical hiring decisions.
This role requires a strategic executive recruiter with deep expertise in direct sourcing, executive assessment, candidate engagement, and stakeholder management. You will serve as a brand ambassador for Micron, building lasting relationships with top leadership talent while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Executive Search Strategies
  • Lead end-to-end executive and senior leadership searches through proactive identification, engagement, assessment, and hiring of exceptional talent.
  • Design and implement innovative search strategies targeting active and passive executive candidates across global talent markets.
  • Build comprehensive market maps, talent landscapes, and competitive intelligence to support leadership hiring decisions and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Advise business leaders on talent availability, organizational design considerations, succession implications, and market trends.

Serve as a Strategic Talent Advisor
  • Partner closely with executives, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and business leaders to understand organizational priorities and leadership requirements.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and talent insights that influence hiring decisions and long-term workforce strategies.
  • Consult with leadership teams on executive assessment, candidate evaluation, and talent acquisition best practices.

Build World-Class Leadership Talent Pipelines
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with executive and senior leadership talent across diverse industries, functions, and geographies.
  • Create sustainable talent communities that support both current hiring needs and future leadership succession objectives.
  • Ensure a diverse and inclusive approach to executive talent identification and engagement.

Drive Candidate Experience and Offer Outcomes
  • Deliver a highly personalized and consultative candidate experience that reflects Micron's values, culture, and employment brand.
  • Lead executive-level offer development, compensation negotiations, and closing strategies to secure top talent.
  • Anticipate and manage complex candidate dynamics, ensuring successful outcomes through influence and relationship management.

Champion Executive Search Excellence
  • Promote awareness, adoption, and confidence in Micron's Executive Search function by consistently delivering exceptional results and strategic value.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance search methodologies, processes, tools, and candidate engagement practices.
  • Drive operational excellence through thoughtful innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Thrive in a Dynamic Environment
  • Operate with urgency, resilience, and adaptability while managing multiple high-priority executive searches simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism when handling highly confidential and sensitive information.

Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of executive search experience, including in-house executive recruiting, retained search, or a combination of both within leading technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, attracting, and hiring executive and senior leadership talent across multiple functions and business disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of executive search methodologies, talent mapping, market research, assessment techniques, and executive engagement strategies.

Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and candidates.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic search plans while managing multiple complex searches concurrently.
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills with experience advising leaders on talent-related decisions.
  • Expertise in executive candidate assessment, offer strategy, compensation discussions, and closing negotiations.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain discretion while managing highly confidential information.
  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for executive recruiting and a commitment to delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting executive talent within the semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Experience with Workday, Eightfold, or other enterprise recruiting technologies.
  • Track record of building proactive leadership talent pipelines and leveraging market intelligence to influence organizational decisions.

This can be a remote role based in PST or MST.
