[What the role is]

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions a safe, sustainable and liveable Built Environment for Singapore. It also champions the development and transformation of the Built Environment sector, to improve Singapore’s living environment. We are looking for dynamic individuals who can contribute to BCA’s growing digital communications and content creation functions.

[What you will be working on]

You will work with the team to formulate and drive digital communication strategies to profile the work by BCA and the built environment sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategise, conceptualise and implement social and digital communications strategies and campaigns to support BCA’s mission and objectives

  • Manage BCA’s suite of social media platforms to build meaningful connections with various target audiences and shape their understanding and perception of the Built Environment

  • Monitor and analyse social media data and metrics, insights and best practices to continuously improve performance of the social media platforms

  • Collaborate with different BCA groups to understand their work and translating them into creative and engaging digital content for our audiences

  • Facilitate user generated content to increase reach and engagement

  • Develop and maintain digital media assets including photos and videos for socials

[What we are looking for]

The candidate should possess:

  • Tertiary Education preferably a degree in mass communication, new media or marketing

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital communications. Fresh graduates with considerable portfolios are welcome to apply as well. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of the various social media platforms and the technical know-how to curate and optimise content for maximum engagement

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to write effectively for the audience

  • A self-motivated individual who is reliable, meticulous, proactive, creative and a good team player

  • Able to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Professional and positive attitude towards work and learning

  • Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite software packages or in-design skills
