About the Role: 

We are seeking an Enablement professional to help support Field Enablement for the AMER Emerging + Latin America (LATAM) Business Unit (BU), with a combined focus on the joint Sales + Field Engineering (FE) go-to-market (GTM) team. AMER Emerging + LATAM includes Startups, Emerging Enterprise, Digital Natives, and LATAM.

This role will be a critical business partner to the leaders of at least two of our industries/BU +1s and the cross-functional teams that support revenue growth. It will be responsible for developing and executing field enablement and industry programming for multiple segments in the business unit.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in selling motion acumen and a deep understanding of a consumption-based motion, as well as a genuine passion for data and AI technologies, field enablement, and adult learning principles.

The role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Field Enablement for AMER Emerging + LATAM Business.

The impact you will have: 

  • Through a strong grasp of the consumption GTM model, you will apply best practices to assess and improve enablement programs to boost sales productivity.
  • Partner closely with leadership and other stakeholders to discover, validate, prioritize, and scale sales enablement initiatives.
  • Develop enablement strategy through innovative programs, covering analysis, design, development, implementation, and reporting oversight. 
  • Align programs with BU-strategic priorities to contribute to the global roadmap.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to keep up-to-date with a fast-evolving Databricks platform, product, value messaging, capabilities, and new processes.
  • Lead, facilitate, and coordinate enablement sessions, workshops, and other launches in the region for a sales and technical audience.

What we look for:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, sales enablement, or data/AI technical-adjacent roles.
  • Experience delivering large-scale training and enablement solutions in a Tech or Data/AI company, targeted at a pre-sales GTM audience.
  • Possess or be willing to develop proficiency in foundational Data/AI concepts, the Lakehouse Architecture, and Databricks product.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, coupled with a strong executive presence and the ability to effectively influence and engage large audience

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
