About Sunbound

Company. Sunbound is building the “financial OS for senior care.” The current senior care payments experience is broken—leading to higher costs, operational inefficiencies for senior living operators, and unnecessary stress for families. Sunbound solves this by delivering the first modern platform to manage this process end-to-end, saving operators and families time, money, and effort.

Mission. Our founders were inspired to start the business after seeing these challenges firsthand with their own families. We deeply care about supporting one of the most underserved groups in our population: seniors. Sunbound’s mission is to make managing money for senior living easy—so our customers can focus on what really matters: providing quality housing and care.

Team. We're a tight-knit, driven team with hubs in Downtown Brooklyn, NYC, and Washington, DC.

Traction. Since launching in mid-2023, we now serve thousands of families and are doing 7 figures in ARR.

Growth. Sunbound is on fire—growing over 30% month-over-month. The senior living market is a massive and fast-growing $230B+ opportunity as the “baby boomer” generation continues to age.

Funding. We recently closed our Series A from top-tier investors including TTV Ventures, Fika Ventures, Bling Capital, Liquid2 Ventures, Cambrian Ventures and Max Ventures. These firms have collectively backed over 20 unicorns such as Square, Lyft and Rippling. We also have backing from key industry participants including LiveOak Bank and Omega Healthcare Investors (the largest Skilled Nursing focused REIT).

About the role

Sunbound is looking for a Field Marketing & Growth Specialist who’s energized by making things happen. In this role, you’ll own the coordination and execution behind Sunbound’s most important marketing programs — from conferences, to Sunbound-hosted gatherings, digital events, social media, and HubSpot campaigns.

You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing and partner closely with the full Go-To-Market team. You’ll have real ownership over your projects, while receiving guidance, feedback, and collaboration as you grow. If you’re organized, proactive, creative, and excited to build at a fast-moving Series A startup, you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

In this role you will...

  • Own Field Marketing

    • Coordinate Sunbound’s presence at national and state conferences, including planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, booth setup, shipping, travel, swag, and conference registrations.

    • Handle and manage Sunbound-hosted gatherings such as cocktail hours, client dinners, small group meetups, and industry outings

    • Own and manage the event budget for each event, ensuring spending aligns with goals and remains on target.

    • Ensure events and materials are delivered on time, on brand, and with smooth coordination for executives and GTM partners.

    • Support pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up, tracking, and reporting

  • Lead Digital Events (Webinars & Virtual Programs)

    • Build and manage registration pages, forms, and workflows in HubSpot.

    • Coordinate with internal speakers and ensure smooth execution of live digital events.

    • Support follow-up communications and reporting.

  • Lead Social Media & Content Creation

    • Manage Sunbound’s day-to-day presence on social channels (primarily LinkedIn).

    • Create and publish content that showcases our brand, highlights events, and engages senior living audiences.

    • Assist with light creative work using Figma or similar tools.

  • Support the team with Marketing Operations

    • Build landing pages, emails, lists, and light automation workflows in HubSpot.

    • Maintain clean data and assist with reporting on event and campaign performance.

    • Support ongoing improvements to marketing processes and campaign operations.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelors with 2–5 years of experience in marketing, events, operations, or similar roles — B2B or healthcare a plus.

  • Comfortable using HubSpot, Google Workspace, Excel, and Figma

  • Excited about working in a fast-moving startup — you’re a proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and moves projects forward.

  • You have a leadership mindset — curious, driven, and committed to growing into bigger responsibilities over time.

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented — you enjoy creating clarity and structure.

  • A clear, thoughtful communicator — you work well with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Motivated by both project ownership and collaborative support — you like having autonomy, not isolation.

  • A resilient person with a “can do” attitude

  • Someone who is determined to win

Bonus Qualifications

  • Interest in AgeTech / Senior living

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
