This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Grow the business within assigned accounts or territories in accordance with stated company plan; develop sales forecasts and territory potentials, and (ii) Sell professional line products to installing dealers and distributors in a prescribed territory by developing and maintaining strong relationships with all customers in an assigned territory.  Fully understand the marketplace of responsibility, including competition, new opportunities, threats to the business.  Provide feedback from customers to our product teams through appropriate channels.  Upon sales of new Commercial/Perimeter accounts, take over account management function as assigned. Provide mentoring and coaching of newer members of the sales team in Level 1 and Level 2 Field Sales roles.  Requires 5+ years of sales experience of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and increase the sales volume of assigned accounts or districts in accordance with stated company plan; develop sales forecasts and district potentials

  • Sell Professional Line products to installing dealers and distributors in a prescribed territory by developing and maintaining strong relationships with all customers in an assigned territory

  • Manage all partner relationships to strengthen overall solution capabilities and drive greater value to the customer; address customer inquiries and concerns

  • Drive average net sales price and overall P&L impact at the district level by managing pricing programs

  • Conduct customer training presentations around product and selling skillset

  • Facilitate quote management and order fulfillment to effectively deliver product, pricing and sales information to customers and team using insights and data

  • Develop and implement merchandising/advertising programs

  • Participate in partnership program implementation and negotiation as needed

  • Leverage strong local market awareness to influence strategic business decisions

  • Represent Sales team on assigned cross-functional projects

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of sales experience

  • Strong public speaking experience

  • Able to travel up to 75% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license

Preferred:

  • Proficient in sales systems; mechanical aptitude; fluency in Spanish

The pay range for this position is $97,700.00 - $157,475.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).  This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
