· Assist in Orion’s capital structure planning, including debt modelling and capacity forecasting.

· Maintain and oversee Orion’s capital structure including cap tables, equity awards, valuations and related equity efforts.

· Assist in the execution of Orion’s strategic finance goals, through supporting our businesses and key leaders.

· Provide support to Orion platform businesses in building out debt compliance and stakeholder reporting capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

· Exceptional analytical skills: ability to handle complex excel workbooks & related analysis

· Thought partnership: collaborative and capable of thinking outside the box.

· Excellent communication: strong written and verbal skills are a must.

· Versatile: a demonstrated ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude and willingness to tackle challenges head on.

· All-In: we are committed to being the best and find fulfillment in the hard work excellence demands.

· Pursuit of Quality: we take pride in doing things well and pursuing excellence.

REPORTING STRUCTURE & TRAVEL:

The position will provide significant exposure to the leadership of Orion’s businesses, the Orion management team, and Orion’s sponsor, Alpine.

Given Orion’s operations across the U.S. and Canada, the role will likely involve occasional travel (approximately 10%).

COMPENSATION:

We believe in rewarding our talent with a competitive compensation package and benefits that reflect our commitment to our people. The total compensation (“all-in” comp, including salary and on-target bonus) will range from $160k - $180k depending on experience.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
