Job Summary & Responsibilities

Education & Work Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in automation, business process improvement, or systems integration roles.
  • Experience with REST APIs, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and SQL is a plus.
  • Previous programming or analyst experience preferred.
  • Experience with integrations to and from Oracle ERP/Cloud/EPM is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or Related Field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Power Automate, UiPath, and low-code platforms.
  • Previous programming or analyst experience preferred.
  • Understanding of system architecture and middleware is a plus.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning and leveraging new AI technologies.
  • Certifications (UiPath, Power Platform, Oracle, etc.) are a plus.
  • Power Automate, Power Apps – for low-code and AI-driven app development
  • UiPath – for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI integration
  • Microsoft Copilot – for AI-assisted automation and workflow enhancement
  • OpenAI APIs – for generative AI solutions
  • Azure AI Services – for embedding AI models and automation
  • Python, PowerShell – for scripting and automation
  • REST APIs, JSON – for integrations and data exchange
  • Oracle EBS/Cloud – for ERP integration
  • Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Databricks – for data engineering, modeling, and pipeline orchestration
  • Power BI, Tableau – for analytics, reporting, and visualization
  • SharePoint – for collaboration and document management

Licenses and Certifications

  • UiPath certified Automation Developer Professional preferred or
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate preferred or
  • Certified in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure preferred

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $77,600 to $97,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

A Brief Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Finance Automation Engineer to support the delivery of low-code, RPA, and AI solutions across the Finance organization. This role will work closely with the Senior Finance Automation Engineer and other team members to implement, maintain, and optimize automation workflows, while developing expertise in advanced automation and AI technologies.
Responsibilities:

  • Assists in designing, testing, and implementing automation workflows using Power Automate, UiPath, and other RPA/low-code tools.
  • Supports the development of AI-enhanced workflows leveraging enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, UiPath AI Center), Python, and custom APIs.
  • Collaborates with business units and Finance stakeholders to understand automation opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Helps develop connectors and integrations across financial systems (Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Maintains and optimize automation solutions, including exception handling and troubleshooting.
  • Documents processes and contribute to training materials for business partners.
  • Creates visual representations of technical solution workflows for business partners.
  • Participates in awareness campaigns and workshops to build AI and automation literacy across Finance teams.
  • Engages in ongoing learning and professional development in automation, AI, and data engineering tools.
  • Works under the mentorship of the Finance Automation & AI Lead to foster a citizen development culture and support business users building their own automations.
