About Netskope

Today, there's more data and users outside the enterprise than inside, causing the network perimeter as we know it to dissolve. We realized a new perimeter was needed, one that is built in the cloud and follows and protects data wherever it goes, so we started Netskope to redefine Cloud, Network and Data Security.

Since 2012, we have built the market-leading cloud security company and an award-winning culture powered by hundreds of employees spread across offices in Santa Clara, St. Louis, Bangalore, London, Paris, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. Our core values are openness, honesty, and transparency, and we purposely developed our open desk layouts and large meeting spaces to support and promote partnerships, collaboration, and teamwork. From catered lunches and office celebrations to employee recognition events and social professional groups such as the Awesome Women of Netskope (AWON), we strive to keep work fun, supportive and interactive.  Visit us at Netskope Careers. About the position:

The Netskope Finance Team is looking for an experienced and hands-on finance professional to take on an active role in the Go-To-Market (GTM) finance function. Reporting to the Sr. Director of GTM Finance, this role will partner closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Customer Support to drive financial/strategic execution for the company’s business. We need a highly quantitative and analytical business partner for this role - someone who has a successful track record of creating frameworks to better evaluate the business, develop proactive solutions to help GTM leadership optimize revenue outcomes, and drive continued efficiencies to allow for reinvestment into more productive areas. The ideal candidate will be someone who excels not only at analyzing the data and metrics but also at presenting the data in a compelling manner to drive positive change. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in a high-profile role that will have a significant impact on strategic planning and decision-making within the GTM function and at Netskope.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and own planning and forecasting efforts for GTM functions, including the long-term plan, annual financial plan, and monthly forecasts
  • Actively engage with senior GTM leadership, including C-level and VP+ leaders across Marketing, Partners, Business Development, Customer Success, and others
  • Develop financial models that reflect an aligned approach between Corporate and GTM initiatives, investment priorities, and efficiency goals
  • Develop and enhance sales productivity and other sales efficiency metrics
  • Deliver analysis and reporting of the business’s financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted
  • Analyze key performance indicators, financial trends, and develop key insights and recommendations to GTM business leaders
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to drive operational efficiency
  • Leverage AI tools to drive efficiencies, automation, and data analyses
  • Provide analytical decision-making support for business partners
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management
  • Focus on aligning GTM metrics with corporate strategy and appropriate market opportunities

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of progressive finance experience working in high-growth technology, preferably with experience in SaaS, Cloud, Security, and/or AI
  • Sales and/or Marketing finance experience required.  Go-To-Market (GTM) finance business partner experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, commercial functions, and common SaaS metrics
  • Familiarity with GTM metrics, including pipeline (conversion, coverage ratios, etc.) and customer unit economics (LTV/CAC, contribution margin)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to present to senior GTM leadership
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentations.
  • Proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
  • Advanced financial modeling and presentation abilities
  • Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to be agile in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
