What You'll Do:
As our first finance hire beyond the CFO, you will play a foundational role in building the internal finance function. You'll help establish scalable financial processes, partner cross-functionally to support growth initiatives, and provide critical insights that enable data-driven decisions across the company. This is a high-impact role with visibility into all areas of the business.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Own and evolve the company-wide operating model to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Build and maintain cash flow and scenario models across B2B and D2C revenue streams
- Analyze unit economics, CAC, LTV, margin trends, and channel performance to inform strategic decisions
Operational Finance & Accounting
- Support the month-end close process in partnership with outsourced accountants
- Manage vendor payment approvals, expense tracking, and revenue recognition processes
- Assist with audit readiness and financial compliance
Strategic Finance & Growth Enablement
- Partner with sales, marketing, and ops to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and evaluate GTM strategies
- Provide financial inputs into product launches, customer acquisition plans, and inventory planning
- Help prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising activities
Systems & Reporting
- Drive the implementation of tools and workflows for accurate, timely financial reporting
- Develop dashboards and reporting packages for key company and department-level KPIs
Who You Are:
- 4–6+ years of progressive finance experience in startups, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting
- Strong financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Experience with both B2B and D2C business models preferred
- Familiarity with SaaS or consumer product KPIs and reporting frameworks
- Operationally minded, highly analytical, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Self-starter with strong ownership mindset and bias for execution
