This role is part of Blue Origin Corporate Finance, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

This role is available on-site in Kent, Washington with relocation provided.

Seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to drive Finance transformation by crafting long-term value and evolving talent for business insights, processes, and controls.

Ideal for those excelling in financial acumen, governance, and process improvement for strong financial reporting and business insights. You'll bridge Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence during system evolution.

You will be responsible for developing reporting solutions from start to finish, defining business needs, and collaborating with collaborators to provide reliable insights. Your efforts will play a pivotal role in enabling well-informed decision-making to support secure human space travel and sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Craft intuitive and dynamic reporting by applying financial competence skills and metrics that bridge Finance, Accounting, and Operations to deliver data-driven insights aligned to processes.
  • Collaborate and develop strategic cross-functional partnerships to lead efforts with root cause analysis to improve data quality and processes passionate about financial system usability.
  • Lead finance process improvements to automate and standardize financial reporting with common definitions, supporting documentation, and user training.
  • Design, implement, and document standard financial reporting definitions and maintain metadata consistency across systems.
  • Support Finance Transformation and Business Intelligence projects to improve process field.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and planning processes, including month-end close and variance analysis
  • Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent, as a financial analysis and data visualization tool
  • Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail in supporting data reconciliations and process documentation
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, especially within Finance and across functional, operational, and technical teams
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL querying and data mining
  • Familiarity with financial systems and cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, OneStream, Databricks, or other similar systems
  • Experience with process standardization and master data management
  • Background working with compliance frameworks such as SOX or internal controls
  • Demonstrated resilience in solving ambiguous or complex data challenges
  • Track record of establishing trust and credibility through analytical rigor and collaborating with others

 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $82,570.00-$115,597.65
