Position Overview:


Fleet Data Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and procurement controls across our data center development and operations. You will partner with Design, Construction, Engineering, Delivery & Planning, and Procurement teams to help manage budgets, track costs, and ensure accurate purchase-order processing through tools like Procore and NetSuite. This is a hands-on, analytical role and plays a supporting role in budget development, cashflow forecasting and financial performance measurement.  The right candidate is an inquisitive, data-driven individual who is able to work independently with supporting direction to achieve objectives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather financial data from multiple systems and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze spend patterns, key metrics, and business performance trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and cash-flow updates in partnership with FP&A leadership.
  • Build working relationships with functional teams (Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Accounting) to understand business drivers and cost impacts.
  • Manage the purchase order process from creation through fulfillment, ensuring accurate 3-way matching across Procore, NetSuite, invoices, and receipts.
  • Assist with RFP processes by coordinating submissions, evaluating vendor quotes, and supporting cost/metric comparisons.
  • Maintain cost trackers, committed-vs-actual reporting, and financial documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform variance and financial analysis to highlight insights and support operational decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to expense policies and financial controls across projects.
  • Support continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of financial processes and reporting workflows.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis, special projects, and cross-functional financial support as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis & reporting (or a related role)
  • Experience or knowledge within the Data Center Construction & Operations/Infrastructure a plus
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to interact and work with multiple levels and functions within the Company
  • Capable of extracting and communicating data with relevant, consumable and actionable takeaways
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal oversight
  • Results-oriented with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with varying timelines
  • Intellectually curious with a problem-solving orientation
  • High ethical standards & integrity

Expected Salary Range:  $80,000 - $130,000 Salary + Bonus


Location: Seattle, WA (Mercer Island), but will also consider candidates from Denver, CO, and Alexandria, VA.
