About your new role:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst focused on Commissions to join our dynamic team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our commission processes. This individual will play a key role in our financial operations, proactively managing commissions to control costs and enhance our partner relationships.


As a Financial Analyst at CommandLink, you will be responsible for all aspects of direct and indirect commissions process. With a proactive approach, you will work closely with sales, billing, and finance/accounting teams to reduce costs and backend credits, directly influencing the implementation of software and process improvements and automation. You will also provide training and support to relevant teams on commission processes and maintain/update documentation of all processes related to commission.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive commission process assurance to control costs and backend corrections.
  • Assist accounting team in the accurate calculation and timely payout of monthly commissions.
  • Verify the accuracy of partner commissions during order provisioning.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of partner commission data before payment.
  • Analyze installation data for potential billing issues.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for commission-related data to ensure transparency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, billing, and finance/accounting teams.
  • Influence the implementation of software and process improvements and automation.
  • Support improvements to partner commission processes and systems.
  • Provide training and support to relevant teams on commission processes.
  • First point of contact for both internal and external sales teams commission inquiries.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Maintain and update documentation of all processes related to commission.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.


What you'll need for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, particularly in commissions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in the technology, telecom or SaaS industry.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with commission tracking systems and financial software.

The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
