Produce quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Magna Employee's Charter and the policies and procedures of Kamtek. Responsible for supporting safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to KAMTEK's plant standards and upholding the Magna Employee's Charter.
Essential Functions
- Perform quality checks as required using QID, QIF, FO/LO Process, and Quality alerts as our guide.
- Evaluate A-class Surface and identify cosmetic defects, using various methods such as high light, stoning, feeling using hand to check for highs, lows, buckles, and etc.
- Metal working techniques such as grinding, filing, and etc. using DA sander, grinder, files, dollies and etc.
- Maintain proper documentation of production and inventory using our CMS system.
Position Requirements
- The ability to identify MINOR DEFECTS by visual/feel check/highlighting..
- The ability to rework MINOR DEFECTS such as high spots and slivers.
- The ability to use basic metal finish hand tools such as sanders/emery boards/scotch brite
- The ability to effectively use highlight oil to verify defects.

Education/work experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6-12 months previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
