Description of Work

It's that time of year again! We're excited about the upcoming 2026 NC Mountain State Fair.
We are seeking seasonal staff for the 2026 NC Mountain State Fair that begins on Friday, September 11, 2026, and ends on Sunday, September 20, 2026. If you enjoy people, working in a fast-paced environment, could use a little extra cash, and being part of a team is essential to a safe and fun event, we need you!

The Fair is held at the Davis Event Center - 765 Boylston Hwy, Fletcher, NC 28732.
We are hiring for the following positions:
Information Personnel, Ticket Seller, Ticket Taker, and Entry Personnel.
**Background checks will be required for the Ticket Seller positions. **

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Recruitment Range: $15.00 - $17.00

  • Ability to collect data and fees for the work location.
  • Ability to convey basic information to individuals or groups.
  • Ability to understand basic issues, identify problems and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action.

Minimum Education and Experience
