Note: We are recruiting on behalf of our valued client. This opportunity is for a position with their organization, not with People Culture Talent. We're excited to help connect talented professionals with this exceptional team!

The Role

We're hiring the first dedicated Marketing hire at a Series A AI infrastructure company, someone who will work directly alongside the CEO to build the brand, the content engine, and the go-to-market narrative from the ground up. The CEO plans to do meaningful IC marketing work himself. This isn't a "hire someone and hand it off" situation — it's a genuine partnership.

What You’ll Own
  • Product Marketing — Develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Clearly communicate the technical value to the people who need to buy it.

  • Content Strategy — Build a content engine that educates developers and establishes the company as a credible voice in the market.

  • Thought Leadership — Elevate founder and team voices across social media, events, and industry channels.

  • Demand Generation — Design programs that drive awareness and generate pipeline.

  • Brand Development — Shape the company’s presence in the market as it scales.

  • Events & Community — Support CTO dinners, developer events, industry conferences, and buyer/vendor programs.

  • Sales Enablement — Create collateral, competitive talk tracks, and messaging frameworks that strengthen the go-to-market team.

What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years in product marketing, growth marketing, or content marketing in a B2B environment

  • Real experience marketing to technical buyers — engineers, VPs of Product, developer audiences

  • Strong product marketing fundamentals: positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, launch

  • Exceptional writing — you can make a complex technical product feel clear and worth paying attention to

  • Experience building content that earns attention rather than just filling a calendar

  • Comfort being the first and only marketer — you build the system, not just run in it

  • Experience in developer tools, APIs, infrastructure software, or AI products is a strong plus

About Our Client

This venture backed AI infrastructure company is developing the connectivity layer that enables AI platforms and B2B software to take meaningful action within the systems businesses rely on. The founding team brings experience from Google, Meta, and AWS. The team is small, retention rates are exceptional, and the technical standards are high. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are excited about meaningful ownership and the chance to help shape the future of collaboration between businesses and AI.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
