Position Summary:
The FP&A Analyst III supports financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts by analyzing complex financial data, preparing insightful reports, and delivering strategic recommendations to inform business decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
o Assist in developing and managing financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
o Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budget and forecast expectations.
o Prepare financial reports and dashboards to present insights to management.
o Support business decision-making through data-driven financial analysis.
o Maintain and update the integrated three-statement financial model (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) to support strategic planning and decision-making.
o Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide financial insights.
o Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance financial performance.
o Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and scenario analyses.
o Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
o 5–7 years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience.
o Advanced Excel / Google Sheet and financial modeling skills required.
o Proficiency in financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Planful) and ERP systems.
o Exposure to NetSuite and Looker for ad hoc reporting and financial data reconciliation, is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across levels.
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
