Zayo is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead data-driven financial planning and analysis that powers our Commercial and Go-To-Market business segments. This is a highly visible role for a strategic finance leader who blends strong financial acumen with technical expertise in forecasting, analytics, and business intelligence. 

You’ll oversee a team of analysts responsible for weekly and long-range forecasting focused on SG&A and Compensation & Benefits as well as system-based reporting that drives key decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive business partner who thrives in fast-paced, data-rich environments and can translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

*Preference for candidates based in the Denver, CO metro area (hybrid, 2–3 days/week). Remote candidates within the U.S. will be considered. 

What You'll Do: 

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, setting priorities, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability. 

  • Build team capability in financial modeling, automation, and data visualization. 

  • Communicate financial concepts and organizational strategy across all levels, promoting financial literacy and alignment. 
     

Financial Planning & Forecasting 

  • Oversee weekly and monthly forecasting for key business drivers including bookings, installs, churn, and revenue. 

  • Develop and manage financial models and reporting for SG&A and Compensation & Benefits under a Zero-Based Budgeting framework. 

  • Own month-end and quarter-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, insight, and timeliness. 

  • Support capital structure initiatives such as ABS financing and long-range planning. 

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to validate financial assumptions, business cases, and performance metrics. 
     

Analytics & Business Insights 

  • Design and refine reporting dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and OneStream to enhance executive visibility and decision-making. 

  • Partner with data teams to improve forecasting accuracy, automate workflows, and ensure data integrity across systems including Salesforce, Oracle, and OneStream. 

  • Contribute to the development of Zayo’s Pulse Scorecard and other performance-tracking tools. 

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate complex data into concise, actionable insights for leadership. 
     

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting; at least two (2) years in a leadership or management capacity. 

  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical problem-solving skills. 

  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or OneStream strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of GAAP principles, financial statement modeling, and recurring/subscription-based revenue models (preferred).  

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, deliver under tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with executives. 

  • A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to bridge finance, data, and strategy. 
     

Estimated base pay range: $95,100 - $120,300 USD/annually

#Hybrid

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
