We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

The Finance Systems and AI Enablement Manager at Rula is a unique opportunity to shape how a modern, mission-driven healthcare company runs its financial operations. You will own and optimize our financial planning system, Pigment, while leading the adoption of AI across the Finance organization and helping the team work smarter, faster, and more effectively. Sitting at the intersection of finance, systems, and emerging technology, this role offers high visibility and the chance to directly influence how Rula scales its planning infrastructure and decision-making capabilities.

As the primary Pigment expert, you will design and enhance models, workflows, and reporting while ensuring data integrity and system reliability across planning cycles. You will partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, RevOps, and Business Systems to build clean integrations and a strong source of truth foundation. Beyond systems ownership, you will streamline budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes by creating scalable, well-documented frameworks that reduce manual work and enable the team to operate with greater precision and consistency.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Operations, Finance Systems, or related roles

  • Hands-on experience administering or building in Pigment

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

  • Experience improving finance workflows through automation, systems, or process redesign

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.

  • Experience implementing or scaling AI workflows in a business setting, particularly within Finance

  • Familiarity with SQL, BI tools such as Looker or Tableau, and data integrations

  • Experience with finance data architecture and source systems such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS

  • Experience in healthcare services or marketplace businesses

  • Background in a high-growth or scaling company

We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive:

  • 100% remote work environment: Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)

  • Attractive pay and benefits: Full transparency of pay ranges regardless of where you live in the United States

  • Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA

  • 401(k) plan access: Start saving for your future

  • Generous time-off policies: Including 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year for self-care (for most employees)

  • Paid parental leave: Available for all parents, including birthing, non-birthing, adopting, and fostering

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Support for your mental and physical health

  • New hire home office stipend: Set up your workspace for success

  • Quarterly department stipend: Fun team-building activities or in-person gatherings

  • Wellness events and lunch & learns: Explore a variety of engaging topics

  • Community and employee resource groups: Participate in groups that celebrate employee identity and lived experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all

Our team

We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our mission of making mental healthcare work for everyone.  We are dedicated to having a culture of inclusion that will support our employees in feeling safe, seen, heard, and valued.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
