Job Description – Front-End Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Engineer to support the development of a modern Document Authoring platform and deliver a high-quality MVP solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating existing UX/UI designs into responsive, production-ready front-end applications, developing intuitive document authoring workflows, and integrating the application with backend services, middleware, RESTful APIs, and AWS-hosted environments. The role requires strong hands-on experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, component-based architecture, and state management. The candidate will work closely with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to ensure seamless system integration while following established architectural and engineering standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot and optimize front-end applications, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and balance rapid MVP delivery with maintainable, scalable, and high-quality engineering practices. Experience with enterprise document management, document authoring, rich-text editors, content management platforms, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and Agile product development will be considered an asset.



Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with React / React.js or modern front-end frameworks
  • Advanced JavaScript / TypeScript development
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
  • Experience building production-ready, scalable front-end applications
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and backend/middleware integration
  • Experience with front-end architecture and component-based development
  • Hands-on experience with state management such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar
  • Experience working with AWS-hosted applications and cloud environments
  • Ability to translate UX/UI designs or Figma designs into production-ready interfaces
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and front-end performance
  • Experience with Git/version control and modern development practices
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile/product development environment
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Experience developing enterprise applications is preferred
  • Experience with document management, document authoring, rich-text editors, or content management platforms is preferred
