About the role

As a Full Stack Engineer Auxo, your responsibilities encompass supporting developers in building a strong infrastructure and automating as much of the systems as possible. Your role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, including UX designers, application engineers, technical project managers, and development teams. The primary objective is to guarantee the delivery of top-tier applications that consistently exceed customer expectations.

What you'll do

• Design and develop full-stack (MERN) enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements—especially across Insurance and Financial Services use cases.
• Collaborate directly with customers to capture, clarify, and document specific business and functional needs.
• Propose, present, and defend technical solution approaches, providing architectural and engineering guidance to delivery teams.
• Deliver innovative solutions that resolve complex business and technical challenges.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance solution quality and engineering effectiveness.
• Build high-quality application components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Write robust, scalable services using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Express.
• Develop solutions leveraging Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) and serverless architectures such as Azure Functions.

Required Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack (MERN) Developer/Engineer in a professional environment.
• Hands-on development and deployment experience in public cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to build responsive, scalable front-end applications using React.
• Strong back-end engineering experience with Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Express.
• Proficiency with Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) within Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architectures.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with MongoDB or comparable document-oriented databases.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of Camunda or other BPM/workflow automation tools.
• Strong preference for candidates with InsurTech and/or FinTech experience.

• Auxo Solutions is a remote-first company, however Engineers may be asked to travel infrequently (to client sites).
• Team members must be available to work Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm EDT and live and work in the continental United States.
