About the Role:

The Merchandising team helps customers quickly understand and choose the best way to send money to loved ones. As a front-end–leaning full-stack engineer, you'll craft intuitive experiences that showcase the value of our product and guide customer decisions. Your work will shape a product used to send over $54.6B in 2024, improving the lives of millions of immigrants and enabling teams to build the next generation of trusted, borderless financial services.
 

You Will:

• Solve technical challenges with a customer-centric mindset.

• Design and implement solutions for ambiguous and difficult problems involving multiple technologies (TypeScript, React Native, Java/Kotlin, Go) and systems.

• Build and maintain full-stack features and systems.

• Deliver well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions.

• Participate in code review, mentoring, and ramping new hires.

• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts to achieve outstanding customer experiences.

• Report to the Engineering Manager of the Send Experience team.

You Have:

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $136,000-$170,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
