As the GaffneyCline Region Sales Director - APAC, you will be responsible for originating sales by creating customer engagement plans, owning the customer relationship, deploying teams to identify new opportunities to build the opportunity pipeline, promoting the value propositions of BKR to new and existing customers, and owning the development and execution of sales strategies for the assigned region. The position also contributes to the sales strategies for other product lines, working to identify pull-through opportunities.
 

You will be responsible for:
 

  • Overseeing a mid-to-large team, consisting of Sales Managers, Technical Sales Managers, Account Managers, and their teams, if applicable
  • Driving new customer engagement, and maintain and improve existing customer relationships
  • Promoting the business value propositions of GaffneyCline to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Working in close collaboration with Global Headquarters (HQ), Global OFSE HQ, and Region OFSE Sales & Commercial teams, inclusive of market intelligence, early engagement, technical sales, accounts, commercial operations, commercial pricing, commercial risk, and commercial contracts teams
  • Identifying and tag Early Engagement (EE) and Must-Win (MW) opportunities, ensuring their visibility to Global PL HQ and Global OFSE HQ teams
  • Collaborating with Global HQ and Global OFSE HQ teams to develop the annual Commercial Intensity plans
  • Setting the product line sales targets for the assigned region, area or country; ensure proper distribution
  • Leading business development planning processes, in collaboration with key account or local/region account teams
  • Coordinating and collaborate across several functional groups – technology, engineering, quality, HSE, commercial, legal, finance, etc. to put the right offer in front of the customer

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited uni or college on subsurface disciplines or Petroleum Engineering
  • Have minimum of 10 additional years of experience in Business Operations
  • Have Experience in a leadership role directly and indirectly managing multi disciplinary teams
  • Have proven experience within and outside the organization
  • Have the ability to work with and influence stakeholders
  • Have good presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of regional languages
