Join our team as a Geospatial Solutions Analyst, where you'll bridge the gap between geospatial technology and user needs for the US Govt geospatial analytic workforce. You'll work closely with skilled technologists to understand mission requirements, ensure solutions are user-centric, and support effective use of geospatial tools to drive informed decision-making. This role offers direct collaboration with end users and technologists to ensure solutions are impactful, scalable, and mission aligned.
Location: Herndon, VA or Westminster, CO. This position is full-time onsite and cannot support remote/hybrid work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between geospatial technologists and end users, gathering and translating user requirements into actionable insights.
  • Lead focus groups with a broad analyst user base to evaluate, test, and field new geospatial capabilities to support user missions and provide tailored recommendations for tool enhancements.
  • Facilitate and lead testing, training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure effective user adoption of geospatial solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve workflows, incorporating user feedback into solution design, validation, and deployment.
  • Monitor user engagement and identify opportunities to enhance usability and impact of our custom geospatial capabilities.

Required Skills:
  • Experience as a geospatial toolset user and /or fielding new geospatial tools and capabilities into operations. Proven track record of organizing and leading user adoption focus groups to gather feedback and drive improvements
  • Skilled in creating clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials tailored to diverse audiences
  • Experience conducting training sessions and supporting user transition to new geospatial technologies
  • Hands-on involvement in solution testing and validation to ensure reliability and usability in the field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with users and technical teams
  • Ability to work independently in mission-critical settings with evolving priorities
  • Willingness to work onsite 80% or as needs dictate.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and US citizenship
  • 4+ years professional experience with Bachelors degree in GIS, engineering, science (or equivalent years of added experience)

Desired Skills:
  • 2+ years experience as a geospatial analyst in the IC and DoD
  • 2+ years experience working with commercial geospatial technologies such as Esri ArcGIS as well as open-source tools like QGIS or GDAL.
  • 2+ years experience working with IC and DoD technology enablers for geospatial data analysis, mapping, and visualization.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:
$60,000.00 - $100,000.00
