What You’ll Do:

As a Green Goods Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of our company, engaging with customers across various settings such as residential areas, sales offices, showrooms, and garden centers. You’ll:

  • Build lasting relationships with existing clients while seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Showcase our diverse range of products—plants, seeds, and horticultural supplies—and provide expert advice to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Travel throughout your territory to meet customers, attend trade shows, and network within the industry.
  • Accurately estimate delivery dates, resolve payment issues, and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Business, or a related field is preferred. A high school diploma is required.
  • Previous sales experience in the horticultural or agricultural industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with retail and wholesale distribution is a plus.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of horticultural products, including plants and gardening supplies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships
  • Ability to travel regularly within your designated territory
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with computer systems (Onliant or similar systems is a plus)

The salary for this role will be determined based on various factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000 plus commission and may be adjusted in the future. In addition, this position is eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health, disability, life, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
