BSI is looking for a Global Account Director to manage and grow strategic partnerships with global Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences organizations.

In this role, you will lead relationships with 4 to 6 of some of the world’s most complex healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations, helping them navigate regulatory requirements, quality systems, compliance frameworks, supply chain risks, and innovation challenges through BSI’s global solutions.

You will act as the senior strategic partner for your accounts, coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging executive stakeholders to deliver measurable value and accelerate global growth.

  • Lead global account teams across multiple regions and divisions.

  • Identify new contacts and opportunities across BSI’s portfolio including assurance, standards, consulting, training and regulatory services.

  • Lead with a quantified value hypothesis tied to the client’s metrics (revenue, risk, cost), quantify cost of inaction, and align the business case to investment horizons, using insight‑led storytelling and executive‑level visuals.

  • Drive complex enterprise sales cycles within regulated healthcare environments.

Consistently demonstrates initiative in expanding networks, uncovering prospects, and cultivating valuable relationships that drive growth and open doors to new opportunities.

  • Able to confidently sell a wide range of products and services without requiring deep technical expertise, demonstrating versatility by covering BSI’s offerings extensively, while focusing on broad, strategic engagement rather than detailed technical knowledge.

  • Proven ability to lead complex enterprise sales engagements.

  • Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling capability.

  • Experience coordinating global teams across complex organizations.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
