Join the exciting Global Bank in an opportunity to work closely with Product and Technology teams within Global Banking, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
As a Global Banking Technology Business Manager, Vice President you will partner with CTOs and Product Owners to drive strategic decisions impacting resource capacity planning, financial planning, and overall direction. Be part of a dynamic and evolving group, contributing to financial planning, resource management, and program governance. This role requires strong relationship management skills, deep financial knowledge, and the ability to analyze and simplify large data sets to effectively communicate financial insights via business reviews and executive-level presentations.
Job responsibilities
  • Establish yourself as the trusted Business Management advisor to Product and Technology leadership
  • Lead CTO and Product owner business reviews; create decks and present to leadership during quarterly reviews
  • Own the annual budgeting process for assigned organizations; including accurate alignment of expenses to applicable projects, application total cost of ownership and transparency of financial
  • Manage and ensure the project portfolio system (Pi) is in synch with the financial system (P&L). Understands nuances of balancing the two systems and
  • proactively addresses deviations from one system to the other
  • Understand how the client's aligned products allocate out to LOB and sub-LOBs and face off with the impact LOBs as needed to help tell the story\\Lead data-driven analyses to provide transparency and enable decision-making
  • Adhere to the product taxonomy ensuring all expenses are aligned accurately
  • Action all necessary items during month-end to ensure a proper close in conjunction with finance; including allocations, timesheet booking, vendor mapping, and capacity alignment

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in business management and/or finance
  • Proven expertise in financial management, planning, and analysis within a technology or product organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
  • Advanced Excel skills for synthesizing large data sets and presenting conclusions concisely in PowerPoint
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset to unpack complex problems, develop solutions, and manage execution
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of creating clear, concise materials for senior-level audiences
  • Team-oriented with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data inputs for presentation development
