The Global Brand Manager will drive multi-channel marketing campaigns, develop brand messaging, manage budgets, and enhance the company's brand identity through data-driven insights and innovative strategies.
We are looking for a talented Global Brand Manager to join our team specializing in brand perception shaping for Cummins Inc. in Indianapolis, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive effective, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that increase visibility and engagement across digital, social, email, and traditional platforms.
- Craft compelling, brand-aligned messaging and content that resonates with target audiences and supports strategic growth opportunities.
- Strengthen collaboration with sales, product, and creative teams to ensure unified, high impact execution of marketing initiatives.
- Protect and elevate Cummins’ brand identity by ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
- Deliver memorable virtual and in-person events that deepen audience connection to the Cummins brand and enhance overall experience.
- Use data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies for greater reach, efficiency, and ROI.
- Manage budgets, resources, and risks effectively to ensure marketing operations run efficiently and remain financially sound.
- Lead digital marketing innovation by championing new tools, trends, and strategies that strengthen Cummins’ digital presence and performance.

- Advanced digital media expertise to leverage emerging tools, platforms, and automation strategies that influence audience behavior and drive desired actions.
- Solid data analytics capability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, extract meaningful insights, and communicate findings that support data-driven decisions.
- Clear articulation of value propositions to align customer needs with product or service strengths, differentiating Cummins effectively from competitors.
- Proficient marketing plan management skills to develop integrated 4P strategies, guide cross-functional execution, and evaluate market response to achieve business objectives.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing or a related subject required.
Experience:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement successful marketing campaigns.
- Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Digital marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities unique to the role
- Lead the translation of brand and business strategy into integrated, omnichannel campaigns by setting strategic intent, shaping the execution approach, and guiding delivery to shift perception and support high‑stakes commercial decisions.
- Partner closely with the Global Brand Leader and senior stakeholders to develop brand valuation models, naming and positioning strategies, scenario analysis, and global tradeoff assessments that inform M&A, ventures, and long‑range strategic planning.
- Design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness across global, cross‑functional teams, balancing adaptability with disciplined execution
