We are looking for a Global Director of Sales Enablement to join the Global Product and Commercial Growth team within Spotify Advertising. This leader will lead the Sales Training and Enablement Team, overseeing the development, execution, and continuous improvement of programs that empower our business teams to drive revenue growth. This role will oversee the design and delivery of training, tools, content, and processes that enhance business effectiveness across Spotify Advertising.
What You'll Do
- Oversee a global team that owns all enablement initiatives for Spotify Advertising, ensuring that business teams have a clear understanding of our positioning, tech, and can confidently pitch narratives and products.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product marketing, business operations, marketing science, business marketing, and others, to ensure relevant and timely enablement programs accompany all new product and narrative launches.
- Develop and deliver impactful enablement programs, using data to assess impact and refine initiatives accordingly.
- Drive adoption of central enablement tools and continuously measure their effectiveness.
- Design and implement a comprehensive, scalable onboarding program for new sales hires.
- Partner closely with global sales leadership to identify the unique enablement needs for each priority region.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leaders on team readiness and performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and performance improvement across a global team.
Who You Are
- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in advertising / ad tech.
- Have held leadership roles overseeing enablement or similar organizations such as sales or marketing.
- The ability to turn even the most mundane of topics into a great story, inspiring and influencing business teams across a large and complex organization.
- A deep understanding of the media landscape, and have strong background in automated ad buying including experience with walled gardens and programmatic platforms.
- A background developing successful training programs with the goal of driving revenue
- Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional directors and senior executives.
- You have experience working globally and are empathetic to nuanced customer needs
- You are a bridge builder and have experience engaging with teams cross-functionally
- You have the ability to mix creativity with critical thinking and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are comfortable serving as a spokesperson at industry events and in trade media.
Where You'll Be
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the US region as long as we have a work location.
- This team operates within the EST & PST time zone for collaboration.
The United States base range for this position is $183,833- $262,618, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
