Subject Matter Expert in Commercial & Industrial IoT Systems

System Health & Operational Oversight

  • Serve as the primary technical authority ensuring all IoT systems remain healthy, secure, and fully operational.
  • Validate the functionality and performance of third-party systems and dashboards without directly monitoring them.
  • Coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams and external vendors when issues are identified.
  • Maintain visibility into system status and ensure alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).

Azure Enterprise Applications & SSO Optimization

  • Manage and optimize enterprise applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
  • Enhance application performance, security, and integration across platforms.
  • Implement and refine Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to streamline user access and improve security posture.

Automation & Operational Efficiency

  • Design and deploy automation strategies to reduce manual tasks and improve system reliability.
  • Automate workflows for system health monitoring, lifecycle upgrades, and program management.
  • Improve resource utilization and minimize human error through intelligent automation.

Smart Building Systems Management (Commercial & Industrial)

  • Oversee a wide range of smart building technologies and IoT-enabled systems used in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Ensure systems are optimized for performance, energy efficiency, and user experience.
  • Monitor occupancy, environmental conditions, and system usage through data validation and partner collaboration.
  • Collaborate with partners and vendors to implement and maintain integrated building solutions that align with operational goals.

Technical Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide Tier-level technical support in both pre- and post-implementation environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system/device issues across global deployments.
  • Develop and maintain Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs), RACI charts, and workflow documentation.

Lifecycle & Preventative Maintenance Coordination

  • Conduct technical assessments to evaluate system performance and compliance.
  • Recommend system improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with vendors and field teams to execute preventative maintenance and minimize downtime.

Standards, Training & Documentation

  • Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Serve as the final approver for global knowledge base content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Global Project Management

  • Lead global IoT projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and track performance metrics to ensure project success.
  • Clearly describe and create the project scope, including deliverables, boundaries, constraints, and assumption.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules to ensure tasks and milestones are completed on time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and enterprise application management.

  • Strong understanding of SSO technologies and identity management.

  • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps for managing code repositories, pipelines, and deployment workflows.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data visualization, reporting, and operational insights.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing automation tools and strategies.

  • Hands-on experience with commercial and industrial smart building systems and IoT technologies.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience supporting global systems.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and mentor others.

  • Experience managing global projects, including budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.

Salary Range

$108,360.00 - $135,450.00 USD (Salary)
  • Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
  • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
