Graphic Design Summer Intern
Overview:
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support our brand and product marketing initiatives while assisting with day-to-day production needs across the design team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience developing marketing collateral and contributing to cross-functional creative projects—contributing to real-world projects that support our brand and communication efforts.
Project Scope
The intern will support a range of brand and product marketing efforts, including:
- Designing and updating brand and product marketing collateral (digital and print)
- Assisting with production design tasks such as resizing, formatting, and versioning creative assets
- Supporting campaign development through layout design and asset creation
- Collaborating with marketing and design team members to execute creative concepts
- Preparing files for print and digital distribution
- Maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Organizing and managing design files and shared asset libraries
Deliverables/Milestones
By the end of the internship, the intern will have:
- Designed and finalized a suite of brand and/or product marketing collateral pieces
- Contributed to at least one integrated campaign (digital, print, or multi-channel)
- Delivered production-ready files aligned with brand standards
- Created templated assets that support team scalability and efficiency
- Built a portfolio of real-world, market-facing design work
Learning Objectives
Through this experience, the intern will:
- Gain hands-on experience working within established brand guidelines
- Develop practical production design skills for both print and digital formats
- Learn cross-functional collaboration within marketing and creative teams
- Strengthen time management and project workflow skills in a professional setting
- Build a deeper understanding of brand storytelling and product marketing strategy
- Receive feedback and mentorship from experienced design professionals
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong eye for design, layout, and branding
- Clear communication skills (email, Slack)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Location/Time Zone Preference: United States
This is an hourly, remote summer internship for college students, offering up to 35 hours per week at a rate of $20 per hour. Pacvue’s internship program runs across two 9-week cohorts, and candidates may choose the option that best fits their schedule:
Cohort 1 (May 18 – July 17) or Cohort 2 (June 15 – August 14).
