Graphic Designer - Digital Marketing & UI/UX

About Business Financial Group (BFG)

BFG is a U.S.-based accounting, tax, payroll, CFO advisory, IRS resolution, and business consulting firm helping business owners strengthen their financial operations.

Role Overview

Create marketing graphics and conversion-focused web designs for Business Financial Group (BFG USA), BFG Tax Academy, BFG Academy, and affiliated and future brands. The primary focus is marketing creative production, supported by practical website and landing-page UI/UX design. The role does not require full-time development, specialist UX research, or advanced video production.

Report to the Content Manager, who sets briefs, priorities, deadlines, and final approvals. Collaborate with website development, SEO, paid advertising, and CRM/Marketing Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design social posts, carousels, infographics, blog graphics, email assets, presentations, guides, and brochures for industry campaigns, partner marketing, and lead generation. Produce advertising creatives for Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google display advertising, and LinkedIn, including webinar and lead-magnet promotions and creative variations for A/B testing.

  • Design and build branded, mobile-responsive email templates in Zoho Campaigns for client newsletters, seasonal greetings, service announcements, and promotional campaigns, including graphics, banners, and CTA elements.

  • Turn approved copy into clear email layouts. The designer owns template design and reusable layouts; the Content Manager owns messaging and approval; CRM/Marketing Operations owns segmentation, automation, scheduling, and distribution.

  • Use AI-assisted image generation and editing for efficient concept development, campaign variations, and asset adaptation. Review and refine all AI-assisted work for originality, brand consistency, visual quality, and accuracy.

  • Create and adapt simple promotional videos, basic animations, and motion graphics, including resizing for different channels. Advanced video production is not required.

  • Preview and test email layouts on desktop and mobile, optimize images for loading speed, and maintain reusable email templates.

  • Create responsive website and industry landing-page layouts for Strategy Session bookings, webinar registrations, downloadable resources, newsletter subscriptions, assessments, lead qualification forms, and contact inquiries. Coordinate with the developer and CRM/Marketing Operations on implementation.

  • Apply clear visual hierarchy, attention-grabbing creative, clear value communication, effective CTA placement, accessible layouts, and simple form journeys to support conversions.

  • Translate approved copy into layouts and deliver organized Figma files with responsive specifications and developer handoff notes. Coding remains with the development team.

  • Maintain a centralized, approved library of logos, social and advertising templates, email templates, landing-page components, editable source files, and brand guidelines in BFG shared storage. Check text and visual accuracy, supply correctly sized assets, and review implemented pages against approved designs.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of graphic or visual design experience, including website or landing-page work.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or equivalent tools; intermediate Figma skills, including auto-layout and reusable components.

  • Practical experience with AI-assisted image generation and editing, concept development, campaign variations, and asset adaptation, with the ability to review and refine outputs for originality, accuracy, quality, and brand suitability.

  • Basic video editing and motion graphics skills using CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools. Working knowledge sufficient for simple promotional videos, animations, and resizing is required; advanced production expertise is not required.

  • Experience designing responsive email templates, including readable typography, clear visual hierarchy, and compatibility across common email clients.

  • Strong typography, layout, and information design, with knowledge of CRO, responsive design, and web accessibility basics.

  • Attention to detail, clear communication, deadline management, and ability to incorporate feedback.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience building and editing templates in Zoho Campaigns, including its drag-and-drop editor, personalization fields, preview tools, and test emails.

  • Experience designing newsletters and client communications for professional services, financial services, or education brands.

  • Experience with B2B, finance, professional services, or education, and familiarity with WordPress.

Initial 90-Day Planning Targets

  • Marketing assets: 15-25 per month; website/landing-page designs: 2-4 per month, depending on complexity.

  • Reusable templates: 8-10 within 90 days.

  • On-time delivery: 95%; first-pass brand/technical compliance: 95%.

  • Standard revision turnaround: Within 2 working days.

  • Design testing: One structured experiment per quarter where measurable.

Targets depend on workload, complexity, and resources and will be confirmed accordingly; they are not fixed quotas. Conversion rate and cost per lead are shared marketing outcomes, not solely the designer’s responsibility.

Salary

INR 35,000 - 45,000 per month, based on experience, portfolio, Figma/UI/UX skills, and practical assessment. Offers above this range require management approval.

Application & Assessment

  • Submit an updated résumé, marketing/social creative samples, at least two website or landing-page examples, and relevant Figma work. State your individual contribution to each example.

  • Include email/newsletter and simple video or motion-graphics samples, if available, and mention any experience with Zoho Campaigns. These skills will be assessed through portfolios and interviews.

Shortlisted candidates must complete an unpaid design assignment using a supplied brief, with a submission deadline of two working days and expected effort of approximately 3-4 hours. Submit concepts, not production-ready deliverables; work will be used for evaluation only. The brief will be shared only with shortlisted candidates.

The assignment includes a desktop/mobile Figma landing-page concept, one Meta ad, and a three-slide social carousel concept for BFG Tax Academy, with a brief explanation of design decisions and developer handoff.

Note: Please ensure that your résumé is submitted in PDF format.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
