Job Description

KPFF is looking for a highly collaborative individual to join our Shared Services team.  This is a newly created role, designed to support multiple functional teams by delivering thoughtful, visual materials that reflect KPFF.

In this role, you will work across Shared Services, by designing assets and helping create shared tools and resources that make it easier for teams to communicate clearly and consistently.

Your Role: 

You are a designer who enjoys both creating and collaborating. You bring strong design instincts, attention to detail, and a practical mindset to your work, and you’re comfortable partnering with a variety of teams to understand their needs and translate ideas into visuals.

You’ll take ownership of your projects, balance multiple requests, and contribute ideas that improve how design work is created, shared, and reused over time. You’re someone who likes building relationships, offering solutions, and helping teams move their work forward.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Create high-quality designs for print and digital use, including social media, case support materials, and event collateral.
  • Partner with teams to develop new materials that support internal communications, education, and people-related initiatives, with a strong emphasis on graphic design expertise.
  • Help establish clear, usable approaches for visual design that enable consistency while still allowing flexibility for different teams and audiences.
  • Provide creative input during ideation meetings and team brainstorms.
  • Learn and understand KPFF’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and capabilities to help support all areas of graphic design needs
  • Maintain and organize design collateral, templates, resources, and shared libraries, so materials are easy to find, use, and update over time.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of professional graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite operating on PC-based platform (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Photography/videography and editing skills a plus
  • A passion for print design and layout, strong typography skills is a plus
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a collaborating environment.  Experience with database management, file organization, and archiving of creative assets.

Additional Information

Work Environment & Flexibility: This role is work from home, not location independent. Candidates must be based in the United States and able to work standard business hours aligned with Pacific or Mountain Time Zones. Team members may work from home within these time zones or, if geographically close, have the option to work onsite or in a hybrid arrangement from one of KPFF’s offices.

Compensation & Recognition

We provide a competitive base salary that reflects your skills and experience. For candidates with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, the typical range is $75,000-$90,000 per year. In addition, we reward both individual and team achievements with performance-based bonuses. 

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Primarily a work from home role, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and participating in virtual meetings during standard business hours aligned with Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.
  • Must have access to a quiet, professional home workspace with a reliable internet connection to support video calls and collaboration.
  • For team members who work onsite or in a hybrid arrangement, standard office environments and equipment apply.
  • Occasional travel for team meetings and office visits may be required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Standard office equipment, including a computer, headset, and phone, will be used regularly.
