Position Summary

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and brand-consistent designs across all of Med-IQ’s digital and print media. The role combines artistic talent with technical proficiency and a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and user experience to produce high-quality design concepts for promotional, educational, and corporate/brand awareness projects.

The Graphic Designer collaborates closely with business development, marketing, DLS, grant, content and editorial teams to develop creative assets that support strategic initiatives, enhance user engagement, and communicate key messages effectively.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and format educational materials including e-learning products, PowerPoint presentations, online publications, and conference posters.

  • Design and develop creative assets for digital platforms including websites, email campaigns, advertisements/flyers, newsletters, and more.

  • Design and coordinate the production of print materials with vendors – ensuring high-quality and evaluating pricing – including booths, brochures, posters, print advertisements/flyers, event handouts, and more. Translate complex ideas into visually engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines and creates a consistent visual identity across all media and platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve creative output.

  • Manage other assigned activities, as needed.

Education, Experience, Competencies & Values

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express) and Microsoft Office applications (Word and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of HTML and email distribution software.

  • Understanding of print production processes, file preparation, and color management.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, typography, layout, and composition.

  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively on deadlines, project needs, and suggested changes.

Base salary range is $63,345 - $85,695. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including location, skill set, experience, qualifications and education.
