About the role
We’re searching for a Group Account Director, you will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of integrated marketing and brand-to-demand strategies. You’ll be empathic and driven to engage with the challenges and opportunities facing our clients, and constantly curious about best practices and trends across marketing, communications, and customer engagement.
You will have strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; courage in the face of challenge; and a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients from the C-Suite level down, stakeholders, and teammates.
You will be responsible for developing and mentoring your team, while promoting an integrated, accountable, and collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a client services team across an $8m+ revenue account group, ensuring delivery against client growth objectives, budgets, and timelines
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client leadership, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations, as well as internal and external partners
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for account growth and retention, identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to clients based on their goals, needs, and challenges, presenting creative and effective solutions that drive measurable results
  • Lead teams to deliver a vision of account opportunity and performance, using data and insights to optimize campaigns and demonstrate value and ROI
  • Define and elevate quality standards and best practices across all global team activities
  • Drive collaboration and shared best practices within client services and across the agency
  • Resolve issues or conflicts as they arise, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Contribute to the overall vision and direction of the agency, including participation in new business development and pitching
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, preferably within an agency environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels and platforms
  • Experience working with clients across a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and other complex sectors
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive action and results
  • Passionate, proactive, and collaborative, with a customer-centric mindset and growth-oriented attitude

Base salary range: $160K–$200K USD per year
