We are looking for a Group Product Manager to help drive the unification and evolution of assessment experiences at Instructure. This role is central to shaping a seamless, innovative, and scalable assessment strategy that serves educators, learners, and administrators. You will work closely with engineering, design, content, go-to-market teams, and business stakeholders to deliver modern assessment improvements and experiences while ensuring thoughtful rollout for customers. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced product manager who thrives on both guiding teams and diving into the nitty-gritty of product development and innovation.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for your assessment area in service of assessment across Instructure’s portfolio.
  • Drive discovery, research, and experimentation, balancing rapid innovation with a disciplined approach to scaling features for broad adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing, and customer success teams to bring best-in-class assessment solutions to market.
  • Prioritize and execute upgrades and new capabilities, ensuring a balance between modernizing assessment tools, introducing innovative features, and partnering with and supporting customers.
  • Communicate effectively across stakeholders, aligning educators, internal teams, and executives on product direction, feature rollouts, and expected impact.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform product decisions, measure success, and continuously improve the assessment experience.
  • Own go-to-market strategy and change management, ensuring an excellent customer experience

What You Will Need to Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in edtech, assessments, or learning platforms.
  • Proven track record in cross-functional leadership, influencing and aligning diverse teams across engineering, design, and business functions.
  • Experience managing complex product ecosystems, balancing legacy product upgrades with new feature development.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, ensuring alignment across customers, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Ability to drive innovation while managing risk, ensuring smooth adoption through clear change management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, priorities, and impact across all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and iterative product development, paired with motivation drive results and achieve outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work independently as an IC while leading large-scale initiatives.
  • Openness to learn about different educational systems across the globe.
  • Experience working with AI/ML in edtech or assessment innovation is a strong plus.
