About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

Ramp is redefining how businesses manage their finances, and our growth marketing team is how millions of people first hear that story. Paid ads are one of our highest-leverage channels, and creative is at the core of what makes them work.

The Growth Marketing team builds the creative that drives Ramp’s acquisition engine across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and beyond.

We’re looking for a blazingly fast designer who thrives in a high-velocity testing environment, cares deeply about craft, and wants to shape how Ramp shows up across paid social, video, display, and landing pages. You’ll help us turn ideas into ads that move metrics—while pushing the creative bar on what a finance brand can look and feel like.

This is a 4–6 month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

What You'll Do
  • Design and animate paid creative end-to-end across static and motion formats

  • Create ads for Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging channels

  • Develop scalable design and motion systems that help the team move faster while maintaining a high creative bar

  • Concept hooks, headlines, visual treatments, and creative variants that earn attention and drive performance

  • Partner closely with performance marketers, copywriters, and product marketers to bring ideas to life

  • Iterate quickly based on performance data and contribute to testing strategy

  • Build templates, automations, AI workflows, and creative systems that increase team velocity

  • Explore new tools, techniques, and AI-native workflows to expand what’s possible inside our production pipeline

  • Help evolve how Ramp’s brand shows up across growth marketing

What You Need
  • 5+ years of experience in visual design, motion design, or creative production

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both static and motion work

  • Experience creating performance-driven creative for paid acquisition channels

  • Strong taste and a clear point of view on what makes great advertising

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment where speed and iteration matter

  • Ability to use performance data and business outcomes as creative feedback

  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly After Effects)

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience building automations, templates, component systems, scripts, or internal creative tooling

  • Fluency with AI tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Claude Code, or similar

  • Experience creating short-form video for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and paid social

  • Experience in finance, fintech, SaaS, or other high-growth technology companies

  • Familiarity with performance marketing and growth experimentation frameworks

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
