About the role

You'll join our engineering team as our first Growth Engineer. You will work closely with our founders to build experiences that provide our marketing, sales, and customer success team leverage. We’re looking for someone who loves to build, tinker, and experiment and has a passion for the intersection of engineering and non-technical domains.

What you’ll do
  • Design and develop high-quality software, drive the architectural decision, and full product delivery life cycle.

  • Work extensively with our cofounders to scope, build, deploy, and optimize MarTech, RevTech, SalesOps, and generalized Ops experiences internally.

  • Dive into projects across the company, understand how a process, workflow or activity is done today, and scale it with engineering.

  • Establish standards and best practices for growth engineering.

  • Develop and grow various tools across our marketing stack.

Example projects:

  • Virality: Ideate, build, and deploy virality initiatives that help the product sell itself.

  • Channels: Optimize our growth motions, like paid ads, email marketing, content marketing, events, scaled partnerships, and more.

  • SEO: Build an engine to allow our team to write, optimize, and deploy SEO content quickly.

  • Partnerships: Ideate, build, and deploy a system to onboard and support our partners.

Your background
  • 4-6 years of software engineering experience.

  • Experience working at the intersection of GTM and engineering.

  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in learning how a business operates.

  • Proven examples developing with AI in an assistive nature.

  • Proficient with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, Node.js, Sanity.

  • Pragmatic problem solver with a focus on delivering impact.

  • Experience taking software from ideation to production.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Bonus: Knowledge of CRMs, CDPs, CMS, and GTM tooling.

  • Bonus: Understanding marketing practices: SEO, SEM, paid advertising, etc.
