About Membrane

Membrane is an AI for product integrations. A suite of tools that les developers & MK build native integrations in minutes instead of weeks. We're pioneering "self-integrating software" — where AI agents can autonomously create their own integrations rather than relying on pre-built connectors. We've raised $10M from investors including IA Ventures, Crew Capital, Seedcamp, Cortical Ventures and the founders of DataRobot and UiPath and several high-profile angels.

The Role

We're looking for a Growth Lead to own the levers that turn awareness into adoption. You'll work across the full funnel, from how our ICP discovers us to how they convert from trial to paid. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll own outcomes, not just activities.

You'll work directly with our two co-founders (Daniil and Horia) and Liliya, our other Growth Manager.

What You'll DoPromotional Launches & Social Media
  • Plan and execute launches across Product Hunt, Hacker News, developer communities, and social

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts (product, engineering, marketing) around releases

  • Build repeatable playbooks for different launch types and channels

  • Plan and execute weekly social media posts (Linkedin, Twitter)

Trial & Conversion Optimization
  • Own the funnel from signup to paid conversion

  • Run experiments on onboarding flows, activation triggers, and upgrade paths

  • Identify and fix drop-off points with data and user research

Website & Landing Pages
  • Create and iterate on landing pages for different segments and use cases

  • Work on website content, messaging, and conversion optimization

  • Collaborate with design/engineering on page builds and A/B tests

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) & Content
  • Develop content strategy that positions Membrane where developers are looking for integration solutions

  • Optimize our presence across AI-powered search and discovery (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.)

You Might Be a Fit If You...
  • Have 5+ years in growth, demand gen, or product marketing — ideally at a dev tools or B2B SaaS company

  • Understand how developers discover and evaluate tools

  • Are comfortable with both strategy and execution — you'll plan campaigns and write the copy

  • Have strong instincts for what converts and can back it up with data

  • Move fast and aren't precious about testing scrappy ideas before polishing

  • Can write clearly for a technical audience without sounding like marketing

Nice to Have
  • Product marketing background

  • Minimal Experience with GEO/AI search optimization

  • Familiarity with the API/integration space

  • Track record of successful Product Hunt or community-driven launches

  • Basic technical literacy (APIs, how developers work)

Why Membrane
  • Early-stage, high-impact role at a well-funded startup

  • Work on a genuinely novel category (self-integration technology)

  • Small team, no bureaucracy, direct access to leadership

  • Competitive comp + equity

  • Flexible remote working policy

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
