Growth Marketing ManagerWhat is Rhythm?

Rhythm helps associations deliver an awesome online experience to their constituents. This means members, event attendees, learners, sponsors, and more all use Rhythm. As constituent expectations evolve to meet a digital-first world, more and more associations are looking for a technology partner that can help them meet that demand. (That’s us.)

The Growth Marketing Manager will spearhead initiatives that drive top-of-the-funnel growth and bolster sales enablement efforts. (Maybe that’s you?)

About our Growth Marketing Manager

As our Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll design and run full‑funnel experiments that turn curious prospects into qualified pipeline—and help us hit our ARR goals. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue and partnering with Sales, you’ll have the freedom to test bold ideas, own the results, and build the growth engine for a product that associations genuinely love.

In this role, you’ll get to:
  • Own the demand engine—plan, launch, and optimize multichannel campaigns (paid search/social, email, webinars, SEO, partner co‑marketing, in-person events) that fill the top and middle of the funnel.
  • Build and iterate on our growth playbook, setting up HubSpot workflows, lead‑scoring rules, and lifecycle nurtures that convert MQLs to SQLs—and surface insights for Sales.
  • Guide content strategy by partnering with our Content Marketing Coordinator to ensure campaign assets (landing pages, ads, nurture emails) resonate with association pain points and spotlight Rhythm’s superpowers.
  • Run constant experiments. You’ll set hypotheses, test channels/offers, and double down on what moves the needle—no “set it and forget it” here.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales on campaign calendars, feedback loops, and attribution.
  • Drive retention and expansion—team up with Customer Success to craft lifecycle and upsell campaigns that turn happy customers into advocates and incremental ARR.
  • Stand up reporting dashboards that tie every dollar to pipeline, ARR, and ROI.

We’re looking for people who:
  • Have 3–5 years driving demand for a B2B SaaS product (bonus points if you know the association/non‑profit space).
  • Can point to pipeline and revenue wins—not just impressions or clicks.
  • Are fluent in HubSpot (or a similar MAP/CRM) and comfortable building dashboards in GA4.
  • Write crisp, audience‑first copy and aren’t afraid to jump into a CMS to publish it.
  • Think like a scientist—hypothesis, experiment, analyze, repeat.
  • Love collaborating with Sales and aren’t shy about jumping on a prospect call to hear objections firsthand.
  • Thrive in a scrappy, remote‑first startup where priorities shift and “that’s not my job” isn’t in the vocabulary.
  • Bring empathy, curiosity, and a little creative swagger to everything you do.
  • Are based anywhere in the United States.

During your first 90 days, you will:
  • Master the Rhythm story through our Academy courses, learning why associations choose us and what makes our platform stand out.
  • Complete a 2‑week Growth Bootcamp that dives into our marketing tech stack, demand‑gen methodology, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Shadow Sales and Customer Success calls to internalize buyer pain points and the voice of the customer.
  • Finish product training so you can confidently articulate Rhythm’s value across the funnel.
  • Kick off recurring 1:1s with your manager, align on your 30‑60‑90‑day goals, and review key dashboards/metrics.
  • Audit existing funnels and campaigns, then present your top “quick‑win” experiments by Day 45.
  • Build relationships across the organization—Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Product—so collaboration is second nature.
Tools in your tech stack:
  • Apple (Mac)
  • Google Workspace
  • Slack
  • HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub + CMS
  • Google Analytics, Ads, + Search Console
  • LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Adobe Creative Suite + Canva
  • Zoom
  • Calendly
  • Loom

(Don’t see your favorite? Pitch us on why we should add it.)

Perks of being on the Rhythm team:
  • Remote work: We believe our team members can make an impact from anywhere in the United States with a stable internet connection, so we are fully and permanently remote.
  • Healthcare: Keeping our team healthy is one of our top priorities, so employees have access to medical, dental, and vision for themselves and their dependents.
  • Unlimited vacation: There’s more to life than work, so we want our team to take time off to recharge, have fun, and take care of personal needs.
  • Financial well-being: In addition to transparent and equitable pay, we offer employees the opportunity to participate in a 401K.
  • Ongoing learning: The team at Rhythm is a curious bunch. That’s why we have ongoing learning opportunities like office hours, online courses, and industry conferences.
  • World-class team: If you look around at our team, you’ll see a diverse group of helpers, innovators, and creators who love making a difference. Every day, we show up for each other and our customers.
What your compensation will look like:
  • Base salary range: $85,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

Sound like your next growth playground? We’d love to meet you.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
