We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Growth Marketing Senior Manager to spearhead our customer acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth initiatives. In this role, you will combine creative marketing expertise with performance-driven tactics to unlock scalable growth opportunities. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Digital/Product, and Pharmacy Operations teams, owning the strategy and execution of growth experiments to deliver measurable business impact.
In the first 6–12 months, a successful candidate will be expected to establish the foundational framework across the customer lifecycle, determine and integrate a thoughtful tech stack, develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, and determine the appropriate metrics to track and evaluate performance effectively.
OTE: $165,000-$175,000 ($140,000-$150,000 base + $25,000 variable bonus)
Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy Development
- Develop and execute the overall growth marketing strategy, focusing on customer acquisition, activation, and retention to drive sustainable eCommerce growth.
- Identify, prioritize, and experiment with growth opportunities across all digital channels and touchpoints.
- Be responsible for identifying target customers and determining the best message to reach those customers.
- Determine how to most effectively leverage spend, internal and external resources, and technology to maximize awareness, conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Performance Marketing:
- Design and execute profitable marketing campaigns that attract the right customers across online channels - with a focus on high-impact levers including email marketing and automation, A/B testing, SEO, paid media (SEM, paid social, display, ABM). Additional channels may include organic social, podcast, affiliate, content, influencer, video and more.
- Implement audience segmentation and targeting strategies to drive sales and improve conversion rates.
- Data-Driven Insights:
- Set an analytical environment of data capture and interpretation.
- Leverage analytics tools to track and report on key metrics. This includes Acquisition (e.g., CAC, Conversion, Lead-to-Customer, Traffic), Engagement (e.g., Attachment rate, Engagement/Frequency, Feature Adoption), Retention (e.g., Churn), Revenue (e.g., MRR/ARR, LTV, ARPU, Upsell and Cross-Sell), Spend (e.g., ROI, Campaign-Specific, Organic vs. Paid, Brand Awareness), Customer (e.g., NPS, CSAT), and Key Ratios (e.g., CAC-to-LTV). Know how and when to optimize for each metric and how to create dashboards to reflect these metrics.
- Use customer data, purchasing behavior, and eCommerce trends to uncover growth opportunities.
- Customer Lifecycle Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the user experience across the eCommerce funnel, including product discovery, cart abandonment, and post-purchase engagement.
- Optimize email marketing, SMS campaigns, and other retention channels to build brand loyalty.
- Hands-On Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Take on tasks directly, wear multiple hats, and be hands-on.
- Act as a key member of the Revenue team, leading strategic growth marketing efforts while also executing them with excellence.
- Collaborate with internal Digital, Sales and Pharmacy Operations teams and external digital agency to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals, including campaigns focused on specific products.
- Innovation & Experimentation:
- Run and manage rapid experimentation across eCommerce channels to identify what drives growth, such as pricing strategies, promotions, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and competitive benchmarks to ensure the eCommerce strategy remains innovative and effective.
About You:
- Prior experience setting up systems, creating processes, and implementing marketing platforms is critical.
- Proven experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing, ideally within eCommerce.
- Deep understanding of quantitative functions – acquisition, engagement, retention, lifecycle, and insights to drive ROI.
- Proficiency with modern marketing platforms such as: CRM (HubSpot)eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce), Marketing Automation (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo), Analytics/BI (e.g., Google Analytics, Metabase), Email Service Provider (e.g., Mailchimp, Drip), Social Media (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social), Conversion Rate Optimization (e.g., Optimizely, Unbounce), Content Marketing (e.g., SEMrush, Canva), Advertising & Retargeting (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager), Collaboration/Project (e.g., Monday),
- Experience with A/B testing strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or other regulated eCommerce industries.
- Familiarity with fulfillment processes, inventory management, and the role they play in eCommerce marketing.
- Knowledge of SQL or other data manipulation tools to analyze customer and sales data.
