About The Role & Team

We’re looking for a Growth Marketer with experience in monetization to join Amplitude to support the execution of our free-to-paid and product-led sales programs across the startup, SMB, and Enterprise market segments. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and background in product-led growth monetization,  a strong analytical approach,  and will have no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute programs that help fuel the rapid growth of great products with strong product-market fit.

Reporting to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing, this role will be highly collaborative and cross-functional, working closely with the Growth Marketing monetization lead, Growth Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Enablement, and Operations to deliver exceptional user experiences, Product-Led Sales programs, and Product Campaigns. There will be clear measures of success for the person in this role: self-serve revenue and sales pipeline (initial land and expansion).

As a Sr Growth Marketing Specialist, Monetization, you will:

  • Launch Monetization campaigns
Partner with cross-functional partners to launch multi-channel monetization campaigns aimed at converting free users to paid and cross-selling/up-selling both within the self-serve base and to upmarket customers.
  • Track performance against goals
Monitor monetization campaigns and experiments across products, ensuring results are tied back to targets (self-serve revenue, PQLs, pipeline, ARR). Summarize key takeaways for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive clarity and follow-up
Keep initiatives on track — documenting next steps, following up with owners, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Surface insights and opportunities
Partner with Growth and Analytics to interpret data from dashboards. Identify trends and early signals that inform new campaigns or product experiments.
  • Support experimentation and optimization
Collaborate with Product Growth to launch and track A/B tests around paywalls, trials, and in-product prompts. Translate results into learnings and next-step recommendations.
  • Maintain documentation and playbooks
Own the single source of truth repository for monetization experiments, lifecycle campaigns, and product-led sales plays — ensuring learnings and frameworks are up to date.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, product management or marketing analytics in a product-led organization
  • Deeply customer-centric - you drive results but not at the expense of the customer experience
  • Strong analytical skills - you can interpret metrics and dashboards, and are eager to build your own in Amplitude (with support!)
  • Proven ability to support cross-functional projects and follow through to completion
  • Curiosity and initiative to find answers, not wait for them
  • Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with many stakeholders
  • A love for documentation, systems, and process that make teams move faster

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
