Company Description

Iceberg is the sales and marketing operations team for growing companies. We specialize in architecting and building unified systems. We partner primarily with B2B, high-growth, VC- and PE-backed companies. We implement strong sales and marketing systems by providing services across sales ops, marketing ops, revenue strategy, data analysis, and more. Our team is small but expanding quickly and we are looking for the right people to help us get to the next level.

Job Description

As a Growth Operations Architect, you will play a critical role in the experience and success of every client you manage. You will be responsible for working with a small group of clients (3-5) to develop a growth operations roadmap, design solutions to business problems, and manage the execution of the solutions you design.

This is a strategic role that involves guiding business conversations with stakeholders – usually sales and marketing leadership. This is not a systems administrator role, though past experience as a CRM admin is a plus. Successful architects help clients understand what they should do — they don’t wait for clients to assign work.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage onboarding and facilitate workshops – Guide new clients through a structured onboarding process to ensure alignment. Partner with consultants to understand each client’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, processes, and systems.

  • Build and execute operational roadmaps – Maintain prioritized roadmap documentation for each client, ensuring projects align with business goals.

  • Manage project execution – Drive the end-to-end project lifecycle, from discovery and planning to implementation and post-deployment monitoring.

  • Own client success – Act as the main liaison between clients and internal resources, ensuring all projects and tasks run smoothly.

  • Run sprint meetings and client reviews – Conduct regular sprint check-ins, deliver ongoing status updates to clients, and lead monthly and quarterly reviews.

  • Triage and manage client requests – Quickly assess, prioritize and assign ad hoc client needs.

What You Won’t Do

  • Lots of admin work – While you may spend some time in client’s systems, you will work closely with our admin team to design things that they build

  • Take support tickets – Operations support is something we offer, but an architect is not responsible for providing support in most cases

  • Sales or marketing – we don’t do outsourced sales or marketing, so while our architects are expected to have a deep understanding of what our clients do, it is not their job to know how clients should sell or market

Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, RevOps, or GTM Ops

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot, either as an administrator or through managing CRM implementations or updates

  • Proven ability to manage strategy and projects in Revenue Operations environments

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple initiatives

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A growth mindset with the ability to quickly learn and adapt

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in both large and small company environments

  • Background in professional services or consulting

  • Experience on a sales and/or marketing team

  • Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., Agile methodologies, sprint planning)

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
