The Role:
As a Senior Founding GTM Engineer at Ambient.ai, you’ll be the technical architect of our AI-driven growth engine. We aren’t just looking for someone to manage tools; we need a systems-minded engineer to build the "AI brain" for our entire go-to-market motion.
You’ll sit at the nexus of Sales, Marketing, and Data Engineering, using a mix of low-code automation and custom scripting (Python/JS) to turn account intelligence into a scalable revenue machine. Your mission: build an intelligent GTM engine that helps our team focus on high-value conversations instead of manual clicks.
What you'll do:
Architect AI-Driven GTM Workflows: Design and automate end-to-end processes using Clay, AirOps, and n8n. You will build and maintain the systems that support AI agents used for account prioritization, persona identification, and personalized messaging
Operationalize Intent Signals: Implement workflows that synthesize first- and third-party intent signals to launch hyper-targeted, data-driven ABM campaigns
Engineering the "Glue": Write the scripting and "glue-code" (Python/JavaScript) needed to ensure data flows cleanly between Salesforce, HubSpot, Snowflake, and our AI toolchain
Prompt Engineering & Orchestration: Build and iterate on messaging workflows using structured prompt engineering and model context protocols. You'll lead design sprints to optimize for reusability and outcome predictability
Measure & Observe: Define KPIs and monitor system performance (e.g., engagement rates, prompt drift, and latency), making data-driven improvements to the GTM stack
Evangelize the Engine: Document system behavior and contribute to shared prompt libraries, ensuring the Sales and Marketing teams understand how to leverage the "AI brain" you’ve built
The Expectations (Your First 90 Days):
30 Days: Map existing workflows, identify data silos, and deliver a systems audit with "quick win" automations
60 Days: Build and test agent-level workflows in production. Define messaging context boundaries and prototype workflows for persona simulation
90 Days: Fully own the AI-driven GTM infrastructure. Lead the implementation of long-term observability loops and productionize agent governance practices
What You’ll Bring:
6+ years of experience in a Technical GTM, Growth Engineering, or RevOps Engineering role within B2B SaaS
Technical Fluency: Proficiency in scripting (Python or JavaScript) for building data pipelines and system triggers
The Modern Stack: Hands-on experience with AI-workflow automation (n8n, AirOps, Clay) and technical familiarity with CRM/MAP (Salesforce/HubSpot)
AI Sophistication: Familiarity with model context protocols, multi-agent orchestration, and tools like Cursor or Lovable for prompt sandboxing
Systems Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex datasets and translate business objectives into elegant technical implementations
Builder Mindset: You are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment but possess the communication skills to align cross-functional teams
