About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Consultant to support Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation and modernization initiatives. This position combines technical and functional HCM expertise with project administration responsibilities, including solution configuration, documentation development, and contract deliverable support.


The successful candidate will assist in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of HCM solutions while supporting project management activities and developing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and client stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Support the development, configuration, and implementation of HCM solutions to meet client business and technical requirements.
  • Perform functional and technical analysis to support system design, configuration, and deployment activities.
  • Configure HCM applications, workflows, business processes, and related system components.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design sessions, and system demonstrations.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project documentation, including Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables.
  • Assist with project administration activities, including status reporting, action item tracking, risk management, and project documentation management.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation procedures to ensure solution quality and compliance with requirements.
  • Support data validation, issue resolution, and system troubleshooting activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, functional leads, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support system deployment, user training, and post-implementation activities as required.

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with ability to obtain a US Public Trust
  • 2–5 years of experience in a relevant HCM functional, technical, or enterprise application role.
  • Experience supporting software implementation, system configuration, or business process improvement projects.
  • Understanding of HCM processes and enterprise application environments.
  • Experience developing project documentation, technical documentation, or client deliverables.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, Oracle E-Business Suite HCM, Workday, or similar HCM platforms.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience supporting federal government or public sector clients.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and contract deliverable development.
  • Relevant HCM, technology, or project management certifications.
