Vend Park is building the AI-powered digital infrastructure of the built world. In under two years, we’ve scaled to 23 cities and partnered with leading owners like Nuveen, Jamestown, and Federal Realty. We operate as a small, high-ownership team where decisions move fast and solutions ship quickly and reliably.

The Role

We're hiring a Head of Finance to help scale some of the most critical infrastructure we're building. Until now, our finance function has been founder-led. It has been gritty, hands-on, and successful. Now, we are looking for a partner to take the baton and turn that grit into a scalable, high-velocity machine.

This is not a role for someone who wants to hide behind a spreadsheet. This is a role for a builder who will be the guardian of our unit economics, the voice of reason in the boardroom, and the architect of the infrastructure that allows us to scale from Series A onwards.

The Heart of the Role

You are not just "keeping the books." You are building the nervous system of the company.

  • You are the Guardian of Trust: Our real estate partners rely on us. You will own the "Payment to Owners" process, ensuring that every dollar is accounted for, every deposit is tested, and every partner is paid with precision. You understand that a late payment isn't an administrative error; it’s a breach of trust.

  • You are a Builder of Infrastructure: We are maturing our capital structure. You will lead the critical transition of our banking relationships, managing loan covenants, and establishing a treasury management strategy that optimizes our capital.

  • You are a Strategic Storyteller: Data is useless without a narrative. You will own Board preparation, translating raw financials into clear, strategic insights that help our investors and leadership team make bold decisions.

What You Will Build & Own

The Financial Engine (Operations & Treasury)

  • Maturing the Stack: You will project-manage the migration of our banking infrastructure to Stripe, ensuring a seamless transition for all capital flows.

  • Cash Discipline: You will implement rigorous approval workflows for AP/AR, ensuring we burn cash efficiently. You will own the relationship with our lenders, managing debt facilities and covenants.

The Trust Engine (Billing & Reporting)

  • Partner Settlements: You will personally oversee and verify payments to owners. You will treat this with zero-defect mentality—testing deposits first and verifying accuracy (even using AI tools to triple-check) before funds leave the door.

  • Client Transparency: You will manage the team responsible for delivering reports to our clients. You ensure that when a client has a question about their statement, they get a fast, accurate, and human answer.

The Growth Engine (Strategy & Team)

  • Product Collaboration: You won't just report on the past; you will shape the future. You will work directly with Engineering to push forward product requirements, automating financial flows and building "finance" directly into our software.

  • Team Leadership: You will manage, mentor, and grow the Billing and Reporting teams. You are a player-coach who sets high standards and helps your team reach them.
