We are seeking an experienced Government Marketing and demand generation person to define and lead the marketing for MinIOs Government Team. Reporting to the CMO, you will enhance Brand Awareness, generate MQLs & pipeline growth, and clearly define and track Gov marketing performance by return on outcome (awareness/ contact development/ target  & key account engagement/ demand generation).

What You Will Do:

Government Marketing Strategy

  • Define marketing metrics and KPIs to achieve government team sales targets
  • Define strategy and tactics to achieve awareness, pipeline, partner and bookings goals.
  • Develop and refine Gov ICP targets

Thought Leadership & Content Marketing

  • Execute a multi-channel thought leadership campaigns focused on a monthly social media postings from MinIO Gov leadership and press release cadence
  • Leverage PR, social media, and thought leadership to expand reach across USG, CONUS, OCONUS, as well as other sovereign Governments. 
  • Increase MinIO Gov-focused engagement on LI, measure monthly engagement on website/content. Measure PR efforts to increase exposure/engagement across Gov landscape.
  • Partner with companies like GovNavigator to execute awareness and demand generation campaigns
  • Execute Media Partnership and participate in Professional Associations

Digital Engagement & Demand Generation

  • Participate in key Gov Media company articles and engage w Gov media properties
  • Engage with Media Partners for always on digital amplification with key media partners (i.e. Webinars, content, etc.,.)
  • Own MinIO Gov site

Strategic Event & Field Marketing

  • Develop strategic event plan
  • Participate in at least 3 industry specific events sponsored by MinIO a quarter
  • Manage MinIOs presence at 3rd party events, partner events and MinIO events throughout the year

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of creative leadership experience, with at least 5+ years partnering with creative teams in high-growth B2B technology companies.
  • Demonstrated success in building or evolving brands within B2B, and keen eye for differentiating in an AI “sea of sameness.”
  • Experience marketing to government agencies including NSA, CIA, NRO, DIA, DOE and armed forces. 
  • Manage and execute government budget and report on results and cost / outcomes of strategic programs.
